Kijoli
Is there no way to create a custom glyph in Affinity Designer? I need to be able to write text for playing cards where I can mix letters with custom symbols. Have I chosen the wrong software? All I can find in this tutorial is how you can use the Character Map of Windows to manage the glyphs for a font, but it does not seem possible to add new glyphs. An alternative would be if there were text variables that you could insert regardless of font, so that if you wrote "Gain 1 {gold}", it would translate to a text followed by a gold symbol or something. If anyone can help me solve this I will be forever grateful! Lutz Pietschker
Joachim_L
You can create symbols for that. Only disadvantage you have to cut the symbols and paste them to your text. Kijoli
Alright, it's not going to work like I hoped then, the symbol will not adapt to the font size and so on. It works though, so thank you. Joachim_L and Lutz Pietschker
