Got it!

I have multiple doc/tabs open. I activate a new doc/tab. I import the brushes! And success. BUT Affinity puts a copy in the original doc and NOT in the active doc. Why? So I gotta baby Designer and close all the documents so the brush import get it right? Then I gotta open all the documents again?

I’m not sure what you are saying here? Once a brush or set of brushes has been imported into Designer it will be available for use globally, in any open document, so long as you are in the right Persona for the brush type you wish to use, i.e you can not access vector brushes in the Pixel persona nor pixel brushes in the Designer persona.

Hi @cMacGreedy,

As Mark has confirmed above, once you've imported your brushes into the app you shouldn't need to close any documents for the brushes to be available there.

Does this happen with any brushes you import, or only certain categories?
