Auto commit filters. Use case?

Recommended Posts

I never noticed this preference before in "User Interface". I know what it is doing (now), but still I do not see the benefit. Having two filters open I would only do accidently. I would be fine with the warning, that there is already a filter modal open, but silently applying the first filter as this is default in preferences? Perhaps there is someone showing me a use case?
