Transfering licence

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

since I am not using Affinity Publisher after I purchased a licence, I want to give it to a friend as a gift. Reading the previous messages, it seems I can't transfer the license to another email address, so please tell me if it is possible to cancel my license and create a new one with my friend's email adress.

Regards,

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

If you purchased directly from Serif via the Affinity Store, and made the purchase within the past 14 days, you can request a refund by emailing affinityreturns@serif.com with the details.

Other than that I don't think that what you have asked for is possible, but one of the Serif staff will know for sure.

Hi @Cesare Magnani,

Welcome to the Affinity forum.

Unfortunately licences cannot be transferred and it would no longer be possible to cancel your order as our refund period is 14 days and purchase in question was made in July.

We can however help you purchase a licence for you friend as a gift, and if you would like us to arrange this, please contact affinity@serif.com.

I upgraded to a new faster system, and in reinstalling all my programs, I can not get Affinity to install using the passcode I got in the mail.  I am the same licensee, just on a new system.  Seems the passcode should be valid seeing that I am using the same e-mail account that I purchased it with.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Do the old and new systems run the same kind of OS, either both MacOS or both Windows?
