LBA Posted October 7, 2020 Share Posted October 7, 2020 Hi, We are finding an issue exporting large Publisher files to PDF on Windows 10. When processing the export the application seems to hang, but we have found that we can still execute commands using the Keyboard, to save the file for example. LBA Posted October 14, 2020 Author Share Posted October 14, 2020 @Gabe Thanks for your reply. We've done a bit more testing on this problem and the PDF export does complete. However once completed when you click on the top menu bar the Menu item selected gets highlighted, but the menu dropdown does not appear. If you then press Alt-W for example the menu dropdown will then appear and after that the menu is then fully functional. I'll try and pull a file together for you if still required. You can see that menu's don't drop down and then I use Alt-V and they reappear and work normally. Staff Gabe Posted October 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 14, 2020 Very odd. Try this for me please: Close Publisher. Navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Publisher\ and rename 1.0 to 1.0.backup. The other issue is the icons on the left also don't take focus when clicked, whilst this is happening. I've attached another video. Strangely in this one, one of the menus did drop down and then stopped again until I used the keyboard. Then back to normal for menu and icons.
