GentleGiantEd
I received a very large file 6453 x 4618 px jpg file from a contractor on fiverr.com. Then she went on vacation. So Im unable to launch a website until I get this photo placed... In Affinity Photo I tried to use the Resize Document feature but it get real pixelated when I reduce it down. And when I did reduce it down I tried to import it and Wordpress refuses to import and I get a HTTP error. Never seen this before. What is the best way to reduce the size and any idea what that error is from Wordpress? Thanks for any support on this.
Staff Lee D Posted August 25, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 25, 2015 Hi edferrigan, Something to try instead of using the Resize Document is to open the image, then use File > Export, then specify the size you want the new file to be. If you still have issues any chance you could upload a copy of the file and the size you are wanting to resize to and I'll have a look. Thanks
