How to Fix Panorama Errors

Hello,

This error often happens when I stitch panoramas of flat surfaces. I use this a lot in documenting paintings, murals, etc.

99% of the stitch will be fine, but there will often be a little section near an edge where it completely misaligns. 

I have tried to use the mesh warp tool, but can't seem to resolve it completely.

Check out the AP Panorama Stitching tutorial (especially, starting at around 1:13) which goes over the process of correcting problems with panorama stitching. At present, panorama stitching has to be corrected at the time the panorama is first made (since AP will not save individual layers and masks – only the final output). Basically, you can tell the Panorama stitching algorithm to fill in a particular area of a panorama from a different source image. This might be the solution to your issue.

When all else fails, you can, without too much difficulty, use Affinity Photo's very robust stacking functions and masking to manually create your panorama non-destructively to allow great flexibility with all layers preserved in your afphoto file. Then if you discover a problem later you can return to the stack for additional adjustments.
