I want to include a PDF file in a report I am doing however the PDF was changed when it was opened in Affinity Publisher. Why does it change and how do I stop it?

Thanks,

The Affinity apps don’t currently interpret fonts embedded in PDF documents, so if you don’t have the required fonts installed on your system they will look incorrect when you open the document. In the version 1.9 beta release there is a ‘passthrough’ option to ensure that the fonts are correct when you export the edited document back to PDF format, but the affected text still won’t look correct within Affinity Publisher.
