Hi, Just a quick one, is there a way to set a lock so all images are locked with the aspect ratio. I never want to squash an image I always want to resize something using the aspect ratio but I've noticed sometimes I have to hold down shift and sometimes not. Why does it keep changing and how can I just have it always to it. Thanks Claire : )

By default, the Affinity applications behave differently when dealing with objects that have an inherent aspect ratio than with objects without one.

If the object has an inherent aspect ratio, it will respect that ratio when you resize using the Move Tool, and holding Shift will override the aspect ratio.

If the object does not have an inherent aspect ratio, holding Shift will maintain whatever aspect ratio it does have.

You can change that via Preferences:
