Help...! Have a problem with configuration (Moved)

Someone who can help me, with my problem, I have downloaded the software and I am new to this, I still do not handle it well.  I am apprentice.  I have touched something in the configuration, and I have sent it to myself .... the graphics [shapes, ellipse, rectangle, etc] do not respond to me .... how I can restore the factory default values.  excuse me and thank you.  (I have to write everything in Spanish, and translate into English, so please apologize if I do not express myself completely well. I hope you can interpret and help me).

Are you talking about the iPad version of AD or AP?

iPad PRO 12ˋ9 inch...versión 2020.....i dont understand about AD or AP.

AD means Affinity Designer. AP means Affinity Photo.

Welcome to the forums

My apologies the reset procedure previously provided is for the desktop applications, as your thread has been posted in the desktop section of the forums, so our members assumed this was the platform you're using.

I've since moved the thread to the iPad section of our forums, so this is clearly. Can you please confirm for me, in what manner is your app not working for you? Could you possibly provide a screen recording of this issue?

@Dan C, since this is now in the correct forum & the question is about restoring the factory default values, it occurs to me that I have no idea how to do that with either Affinity iPad app. I searched the builtin help on "Reset" but that resulted in nothing useful.

So is it even possible to do this?

It will probably require an uninstall and reinstall of the app.

Unfortunately there isn't a reset within the app, as Nazario has mentioned above, the only way to achieve this currently is by removing the app and all related files (rather than just the app and leaving the files behind).

It's currently logged as an improvement, to add a reset option to the apps - likely through settings - which would behave similarly to a CTRL run up on Desktop.

FWIW, I knew that deleting the app would also remove "all related data," the same as when deleting any other iPadOS app, so it would do considerably more than reseting to factory defaults.

I was hoping there was some workaround that could avoid that.
