Old Bruce Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Are you starting from a new Blank Document? If so check the Transparent Background option in the New ... document window If this is an image you have opened up then that image has to have a transparent background. If you are using Designer you may have an Artboard which has a colour to it.Note the little green circle and the one with the line though it in the Colour Panes. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
BastianReed Posted October 2, 2020 Author Posted October 2, 2020 this picture has an backround. its not a new picture. i dont understand the description with the green circle. Where i must click to make the black in my picture transparent? Quote
Alfred Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Highlight the layer in the Layers panel and click on the ‘Blend Ranges’ gearwheel to display the Blend Options dialog, and then drag the left-hand end of the Source Layer Ranges graph all the way down. This will make the black background transparent but it will also make the logo semi-transparent: to restore the logo to full opacity, drag the right-hand end of the graph straight across towards the top left-hand corner.
