The save will be to the last location used and the apps don't have an option to specify a default. Could be something added as an option in a future update.

Hi,

is it possible to set OneDrive as the default save location?

Regards

Directly, no. But.... If you save your file to OneDrive, then use Open From Cloud, navigate to OneDrive and open the saved file, your edits will be saved directly back to OneDrive file.

It would be a good update to save existing files in their existing location instead of in the location of the last saved file. I suppose that we are all working on different projects simultaneously and it's inconvenient to always browse trough your folders to select the location.

That is what Open from Cloud does.🙂 But first you have to save it as an .afdesign/.afphoto file. New files are in proprietary format and contained to sandbox. Save create the .afxxx file but in the default storage location (Affinity folder on iPad or iCloud). Save a Copy allows you to choose another location but as it’s a 'copy' you need to open the copy not the proprietary version. Once opened, Open from Cloud) the edits are saved back to the selected folders file.

Properly constructed Folder systems simplify work flow. A lack of a well structured folder system creates inconvenience as it’s harder to locate project specific information.
