Possible to resize canvas with mouse?

It is possible to resize the canvas using just the mouse - click and drag, similar to MS paint?

Depends

To make the canvas larger In APhoto use the crop tool, grab the handles and resize the canvas bigger

If the canvas is currently larger than your image use the crop tool, grab the handles and resize the canvas smaller (or use Document > Clip Canvas)

If none of the above helps please explain exactly what it is you want to do
