Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @SheridanPhoto.

A few possibilities come to mind:

  1. You have hidden the left- or right-hand studio where it would appear (right-hand, by default). View > Studio > Show Right Studio (or Left Studio).
  2. It's there, but the name is abbreviated as you have enough panels on that row of the studio that the full length names can't show. It would start with L, but might show as Lyr, for example.
  3. If you had undocked it, it might be floating somewhere on the screen other than in the docked studio.
  4. If you have multiple monitors, and had it on a monitor that is now disconnected, it might still be there. Connect the monitor, or try View > Studio > Reset Studio.

A screenshot of the full window, showing both sides, as well as a screenshot of your View > Studio pulldown might be helpful, if none of those provide the explanation.
