Magazine Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Why isn't there an option for black text on white for the desktop and studio, as per the mac version - much better contrast and visibility - or if there is, where is it? Quote
Alfred Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Magazine. (I’m guessing that your real name is Julian, although the ‘Title’ box that you see when creating a forum thread is actually meant for the topic title, not your own name or honorific.) If you’re asking about the Windows versions of the Affinity apps, they have the same Dark/Light UI option as the Mac versions. If you meant to post to the iPad Questions forum, I’m afraid we’re still waiting for such an option in the iPad apps. Magazine Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Thanks Alfred. I'd been used to the Mac version and had only just reluctantly reverted to the PC, and the light option didn't seem to work until I came out and went back in with an existing file. Other question, if you can bear it is why files created on the Mac only appear on the PC as PDF's, not workable Affinity files Quote
Alfred Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Glad to hear that you managed to sort out the dark/light problem! As for your other little puzzler, files created in an Affinity app on any platform are usually saved in the native file format. As far as I’m aware, you should only end up with a PDF file if you explicitly export to that format.
