Filter effects show different behavior between APhoto 1.8.4 MAS and APhoto Beta 1.9.0.199

In this case it is the HSL filter. Here only the head of the snake should be desaturated. In Photo 1.8.4 it works as intended. In beta 1.9.0.199 also the shadow under the snake suddenly disappears. See videos.

I found the same was true yesterday with Gaussian Blur. Please can you provide a simple file with a group or layer that is affected? it will help us test the fix.

Seems like the same issue as here

Some filters affect pixels that are OUTSIDE of the mask, attached to filter.
there is test file to check

Seems to me the problem is solved (Photo Beta 1.9.0.206)
