Licorne
In the tutorial videos i saw the width of a brush was changed without using the mouse. I really often need to use different sizes of tools. How can i change the size (width) of a tool just using the keyboard or the mouse-wheel? Till now, i know the following methods: * type in a size in the width field * move the width slider left or right to adjust the size * hold the mouse pointer over the width field and use the mouse-wheel to change the size What i want is not to move the mouse to the width field to change the size, cause i need the size adjusted to a element in the picture. thank you very much for your answer
Staff MEB Posted August 23, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 23, 2015 Hi Licorne, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can also use the shortcut keys [ and ] to control the size of the brush on canvas (if you have those keys available on your keyboard). Another way is to press ⌃(ctrl) + ⌥ (option/alt) while dragging the mouse horizontally (changes size) and vertically (changes hardness) on canvas. Later you should also be able to configure your own shortcuts (see Photo's roadmap for more info). alyssaramirez
Hi - I was using the [ ] keys to change tool sizes like mentioned in the above post, however I noticed this does not work for all tools. Is that a bug or is it supposed to only work for certain kinds of tools?
