Arrow Tool Can't Make Single-Ended Arrows

I'm a long-time Affinity user. I've never encountered this issue before. The Arrow Shape Tool is only making double-ended arrows. Normally, I have been able to adjust this by dragging the red handles, but it's not working any more. I have attached screenshots of the possible arrow I can create with the handles.

Any help is welcome.

Select "None" in one of the Ends controls in the context toolbar.
