Fonts downloaded onto iPad not appearing on Affinity Designer

I've only recently started using affinity designer and I've been having trouble getting new fonts to work. As far as I can tell fonts that I've downloaded are meant to appear in Affinity Designer but they aren't. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app to try to fix this and still no success, I can't think of anything else to try? Any help would be really appreciated, thanks

Have you installed them into the app under preferences.

Just to confirm you need to 'install' the fonts not just download them. As Paul has stated you can install via Affinity or use a third party installer such as Fonteer. The latter enables access to installed fonts by all apps rather than limiting them to Affinity.

Hello I have the new IPad Pro 2021. I am trying to upload fonts into Affinity photo. Fonts are in the Affinity installed fonts but they do not show in the list of fonts. Can someone please help!!!  😭
