Mark Oehlschlager
Just downloaded Photo Beta 1.9.0.199. I noticed that many brushes are not rendering in the Brushes Panel nor in Brush Editor. See attachment. IPv6

Staff MEB Posted September 29, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 29, 2020 Hi @Mark Oehlschlager, Can you please Confirm you have Metal compute acceleration disabled (or that it's not supported on your system) please? Thanks. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Mark Oehlschlager
@MEB Here are my Performance preferences. I accepted the defaults of the download: Open GL. I'm running on Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.6) on a 2012 iMac. 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB MEB
Staff MEB Posted September 29, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 29, 2020 Thanks Mark. If you switch to Metal and enable Metal compute acceleration it should work correctly for you (unless your system doesn't support Metal acceleration). This issue is already logged to be looked at. postmadesign
I see the same issue on the latest Betas, as well as still some weird behaviour in the pixel brushes, as described in a thread in the Designer Beta forums. It is different in this Photo Beta, but it is not as it is in the retail version.
