How import Ilustrator and Free Hand?

Hello @Jean D and welcome to the forum.

All three Affinity applications do not import native Illustrator files.

There is a chance to get some of an Illustrator file if it was saved with PDF compatibility (I think this is what it is called). Basically the Illustrator file then contains a PDF version of its content and this is what Affinity can load.

Affinity help says Designer and Photo can open Free Hand 10 and MX files but it does not support text in it. I haven't tried that.
