crealively Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Hello, am about to do a batch job for the first time. I created a macro for this. But I would like to set up a stop at the tone correction or black and white conversion so that I can manually edit each image individually. I wanted to edit the created macro, but it doesn't work (see screenshot). In Photoshop you can show a symbol, then the action stops at tonal value correction or B / W conversion, then you can edit the image and then let the action continue (see screenshot). How does that work in APhoto? John Rostron Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Have you tried this? That would be the quickest way to find out. crealively Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 Hi John Rostron, sorry to say but... there is no link or file attached Quote

Or are you asking something different, like how to create a macro that pauses to ask you to make a parameter adjustment? Staff Lee D Posted September 27, 2020 Staff Posted September 27, 2020 @crealively The macro recording can be stopped and started when you are creating the macro but it doesn't have an option to insert a stop, something that has been requested. Some steps do provide further user interaction as they provide a settings option, such as changing a layers Blend Mode, see the Help section for some more information. If you've used adjustment layers in the macro these can be edited after the macro has been run. Quote
John Rostron Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 @crealively. When you load a macro, you may see a small icon (looking like a white cross on a black circular background) to the left of the blue tick. Clicking on this allows you to edit the parameters of an adjustment layer, the type of blend mode etc, before executing the macro. crealively Posted September 28, 2020 Author Posted September 28, 2020 @John Rostron But I can only run all photos with the same settings. Don't change every time, right? It seems like that you can't make a specific stop. What a pity! On 9/27/2020 at 11:06 AM, Lee D said: something that has been requested. That means that in the next version of APhoto it will be available? I don't just want to complain, otherwise I find batch processing better solved than in Photoshop. crealively Quote
