version Version 1.8.703 Windows 10 1903 on a Xp-pen deco M tablet.

Three strokes are placed on the canvas, first stroke is drawn using brush selected from the brush menu,

Then eraser is toggled on and off via express key on the pen.

A second stroke is drawn, the hardness and spacing parameter is not applied to the stroke.

A third storke is drawn by selecting the brush from the menu, the stoke behaves correctly

 

Second set of stokes are drawn similarly but this time move tool is selected instead of the eraser.

Look at your video and you will see that Wet Edges (in the context toolbar) is being switched off when you select another tool and then switch back to the same brush

This Wet Edges "problem" is one that keeps cropping up and catching people out.

In your case if you switch Wet Edges back on manually (just the once) it should now stay on when you switch tools until you specifically switch it off or switch to a brush which is configured to switch it off
