Nomah Posted September 24, 2020 Share Posted September 24, 2020 This has happened twice to me since the new update in which I try to open a RAW file and I receive this message (See photo attached). I’ve been able to open other raw files perfectly and it seems that I can get around the problem by sharing the files to Affinity Photo via the Documents app. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so, there's a known issue where opening it from Photos can cause the JPEG preview to open, as opposed to the actual raw file. Sorry. I will update our bug report once you have confirmed. I regularly check and bump this issue because it gets reported a lot. Hopefully we see a fix in the near future. This fix should be checkable in the current customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
