thomaso Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Export "All Spreads" exports a single page only if a page number is typed into the "Pages" field. To get the entire spread I need to type 2 page numbers at least, even typing the number of the right page only does export this right page only, not its spread. I recall this being different in a previous retail APub version. It also occurs in current beta 742. Related issue: When I select "Current Page" it exports exclusively a left page, regardless on which page I had worked at last. With other words "Current Page" is not able to export a right page of the spread, as a workaround I need to select an object on the right page to get it exported. Are you sure that the page on the right was really current? It would need to show like this in the Pages panel: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. What makes you believe the blue page icon border marks the current page, not selected ones only (e.g. for page move or property set)? If you are able to export a right page as current without the need to have an object selected I'd appreciate to see it in a screencast. No need to ask whether I am sure that the current page numbers(s) are displayed in the bottom left corner of the document window. As I said, to me it does not work. But I cannot recreate it now. I will have to assume that I had some layer selected on the page, without noticing it. Sorry. But what made you be sure the blue border would be relevant for "Current page"? I rather suppose with the setting of your screenshot you won't neither page 4 nor 5 get exported even with an object selected. Or, vice versa, your the screenshot would look different if the object on page 5 is selected. Staff Gabe Posted September 30, 2020 Staff Posted September 30, 2020 Hi both, Sorry for the delayed reply. This is what I see on my end: Export all spreads with a single number - You will get the side of the spread with that number, instead of the spread. I think this is expected, as a spread would need 2 numbers. However I do get the correct side of the spread. Export current page seem to show the wrong page number greyed out, but it exports the right page. Issue logged. @thomaso just out of interest. What markup app do you use? Quote

Issue logged. 1. Where do you mean the wrong page is shown as greyed out? For "current page" any page range entry (single or more & left or right) is greyed out. 2. What are your steps to export a right page as current? Do you select an object on this page? – With no object selected I get always a left page exported, even if the right number was typed before in the pages range field (> occurs greyed out with "current page"). > What markup app do you use? macOS Preview.app > menu Tools Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
Staff Gabe Posted October 2, 2020 Staff Posted October 2, 2020 My bad, I had an object selected on the right spread. With no object selected, I get the wrong side of the spread. Ah, yes, as I mentioned before, and with the 2nd screenshot in my initial post. – I suppose for your screen recording you have manually typed "2" before choosing "Current page". Maybe it's correct that any manually typed page number in this field gets greyed out with "Current page". Otherwise you would be able to define any page as current with this field and thus have no difference to "All Pages". But when Affinity defines "current" by the last used page then it also should be able to distinguish between left and right of a facing spread – as it happens when I type a right page number in the lower left navigation field in a document window, and/or when I choose "All Spreads" but type 1 single page number only.
