Desktop: very narrow zone for grabbing palettes to re-size

Recommended Posts

Can the Affinity developers create a larger "zone" for grabbing the bottoms of Studio Palettes for the purpose of re-sizing them? Seems the software has a 1-pixel-wide grab zone. My hands are quite steady, I have excellent coordination, but it's very difficult to hit that tight of a zone for re-sizing palettes. This seems to be a trend or issue across lots of software publisher's apps. Makes working with software needlessly tedious.

Screen recording attached shows what I'm talking about.

Thank you!

Probably not. AFAIK, the window resize zone is set globally by the macOS, not by apps.

Windows used to have an option to allow the user to adjust the width of window borders (although I’m struggling to find it in Windows 10).
Maybe, as mentioned by R C-R above, OS X has a similar option which you could use.
However, because of the way that the Affinity applications have to work on multiple OSes, you might find that this feature is ‘locked out’ for these applications. (I don’t know, you would have to check for yourself after finding such an option, if it exists.)
