Marc_
Please consider adding native support for Druide Informatique Inc. "Antidote" French/English grammar checker in Affinity Publisher. You would have to talk with them as they need to develop a plug-in on their side that would interface your API. See https://www.druide.com/en/ for more details on their product. walt.farrell
The problems with doing that at this point are: There is no plugin capability; and There is no API. Marc_
Then I guess the modified request to Affinity team would be to add a plug-in / API functionality to their software suite to allow third parties to participate at improving their offering... garrettm30
Druide has already reached out to Serif. This thread, for example, was started by a Druide representative: I join you in you eagerness for integration with Antidote. Working with Publisher and Antidote is so much less effective and time-efficient than Antidote with InDesign, as there is a good integration for the latter. As Druide is quite willing from what I can tell, we are entirely dependent on Serif at this point. I suspect if there ever is a solution, it would be best to do so through a generic plugin and/or API architecture that not only Antidote could use, but so many other products current and future. nicomo
Guest
Just bumping this request again as Publisher integration with Antidote would be most welcome, especially as Druide has already reached out previously to try and make it work.
