prurithi
Hi there! I created a grahpic with curves in Affinity Designer and want to export the graphic as a svg-file. The svg file should look like usual, for example with path tags and should be able to select with css. <path d="....> But what I always get is a svg file like that, with a whole bunch of characters after it. <defs><image id="_Image1" width="800px" height="200px" xlink:href="data:image/png;base64, ...... I do not know what I'm doing wrong. Could you please help me out? Aim is to export a "normal" svg file without png type or something. I am exporting svg with the "digital" setting, 72dpi. Thank you. v_kyr
Hi, if you created your AD graphics as plain vectors, meaning here without using any bitmap based FX effects/filters, placed in bitmaps etc., then when exporting as an SVG check the export option settings (see also the "more" button on the panel for further options) and make sure you didn't have accidently "Rasterize Everything" enabled. Instead try "Rasterize Nothing" or "Rasterize Unsupported properties"! Quote Rasterize—select an option for rasterizing design elements which are unsupported by the file format. Select from the pop-up menu: Nothing—no elements within the design are rasterized on export, therefore unsupported elements are not included in the exported file. Everything—all elements within the design are rasterized for a resulting exported file which perfectly matches your original design. Unsupported properties—only unsupported elements are rasterized in the exported file. See also the online help for the "Export Options Panel" here. Thank you! :) v_kyr
