Aligning views for each tab

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure out if there is a shortcut or simple way to align/center images across all tabs.  I'm working on mobile app mockup pages - one mockup image per tab.  All images share the same dimensions.  There are five tabs in total.  I would like to be able have each tab display it's image centered horizontally and vertically... making a standard position.  The aim is to be able to flip through the tabs without having the images residing in different spaces on the screen.  I would like them to display in the same exact spot on the screen... so I don't have to move the scroll bars to try and center each image.

I hope this makes sense!

Thanks for your help.

cmd+0 (ctrl+0 on Windows) will centre and fit the canvas in the view, but you'll need to do it for each tab

True, but whether that works well is dependent on the size of the images. If they are larger than the workspace when viewed at 100% it will work, but if significantly smaller than the workspace they may end up zoomed-in too far. If smaller, cmd/ctrl+1 (or 2) may work better.

You'd still need to do the cmd+0 first to centre the canvas and then you could optionally change zoom level.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed that.
