Mark Oehlschlager
Not a show-stopper, but off-putting nonetheless: often layer thumbnail images for new layers and masks do not render. Is there a way to force layer thumbnails to render correctly as they are created?

Is there a way to force layer thumbnails to render correctly as they are created? I can confirm that there is a problem. In my case the layer thumbnails are rendered with a time delay. But this problem does not appears all the time. Maybe it depends on the file size or the number of layers. markw
This is an occasional problem that’s been around for quite some time now and reported. There are a couple of other threads on the forums about it. But as it only sometimes happens, with as yet no consistent recipe of steps that can make it happen, I can’t help but feel it’s going to be one of those minor bugs that will be with us for some time to come still. Staff MEB Posted October 12, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 12, 2020 Hi Mark Oehlschlager, everyone, I've experienced this on a few occasions too but wasn't yet able to track it down. Seems some combination of layers/filters may cause it but I'm not sure. I will try to pay more attention next time it happens. Thanks for reporting/confirming the issue.
