A|B
Hello all, I have this issue when I open the Ai or similar files in affinity, the artwork is all cut up into pieces. I don't think this is normal as it happens with different files. If I open them in Illustrator they work just fine. Is it perhaps a configuration issue? firstdefence
If you can open them in illustrator, export them as PDF files and see what you get A|B 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Staff DWright Posted September 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2020 This normally occurs when the .EPS file contains embedded Adobe Illustrator data that Affinity can't read. This is because the .EPS format doesn't support features such as blend effects, transparency, mesh fills etc. Unfortunately, there's little we can do and we would suggest that you get a .PDF copy of the file to use in Affinity.
