StuartRc
Hi While trying to recreate Jim's Brush in resources I noticed there is a an issue with the deletion of artboards and slice positions...It occurred in the live version (1.8.5.703) but is also present in the new beta Steps to reproduce 1. File with 3 artboards and centre one containing a set of slices for export (brushes in this case!) 2. Delete the first (left) 3. Go to Export Persona and see position of slices on remaining artboards! I added a couple of screen shots as below NB:I believe there is a much older bug where editing adding artboard to left of original caused issues with slice positions Affinity Version 1 (10.6) Affinity Version 2.5.5 All (Designer | Photo | Publisher) Beta; 2.5 5.2636 OS:Windows 10 Pro 22H2 OS Build 19045.4412+ Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19056.1000.0 Rig:AMD FX 8350 and AMD Radeon (R9 380 Series) Settings Version 21.04.01 Radeon Settings Version 2020 20.1.03) + Wacom Intuous 4M with driver 6.3.41-
Staff Sean P Posted September 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2020 Hi StuartRc, Are all of your slices manually drawn, as opposed to created from objects? I can reproduce it when using manually drawn, but created from Object they do follow the object.
StuartRc
Hi That's a good question...I tend to apply both techniques when creating slices...In this file I initially generated the slice position from a rectangle.. but I believe that I may have created some of them manually as well...some times it's just easier!... Do you want the file to have a look....It's nothing special...just a copy of an older file to try and create the brush for Jim? Staff Sean P Posted September 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 23, 2020 Thanks for that - they do indeed look to be regular drawn slices. I'll get this passed over to development. StuartRc
