Preflight reports less missing fonts than really missing

In my case preflight warns about a missing "Lucida Grande". After embedding the PDF preflight is still reporting only 1 font missing. As soon as I edit the document, there are "Lucida Grande" and "HelveticaNeue-Bold" reported as missing.

I'm not quite sure what you're reporting. Is this correct?

1. You have a Publisher document where Preflight says that Lucida Grande is missing.
2. You embed a PDF file into the document.
3. Preflight still says that only Lucida Grande is missing.
4. You click Edit Document to edit the embedded PDF.
5. Preflight then says there are two missing fonts.

If that's right:

• In step 2, did you specify Passthrough or Interpret?
• In step 5, is Preflight reporting that in the document tab for editing the embedded document? Or in the document tab for the original document?
• During step 4, did you make any changes to the embedded PDF document?

There needs to be more research from my side. Right now doing it the same way again Lucida Grande is only reported to be missing. But when I edit the document in APu the font HelveticaNeueLTStd-Bd was silently converted into Arial Bold. With "silently" I mean I had no control over the substitution.
