What is the best way to create a new color palette? I want to create a custom color palette with 110 colors and I don't know how to do it. Can I create a document in AD with 110 small boxes, fill them with the custom colors I create and then drag that into a new custom palette? I need guidance!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, so much for both suggestions.

Can Photoshop gradients be imported also?

I don't think so, as they are .grd files and that I know can't be imported. Only .ase files.

For those that want Illustrator palettes, save them as .ase and import them into AD! I LOVE AFFINITY DESIGNER/PHOTO!

I don't see an option to save the pallet as .ase. Where is that, please?

In Illustrator, save the palette as .ase and then in AD/AP import palette is what I meant.

On the Switches panel, the three line "hamburger" menu includes import & export options that will let you do this.

Affinity Photo 1.7.1, Affinity Designer 1.7.1, Affinity Publisher 1.7.1; macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 iMac (27-inch, Late 2012); 2.9GHz i5 CPU; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M; 8GB RAM
Affinity Photo 1.7.1.143 & Affinity Designer 1.7.1.1 for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iOS 12.3.1

Ah yes. So the .afpallet extension works in both. Thank you! I should have realized that.

Hello, I just bought an ipad pro mainly to use Affinity Designer with the Pencil.
This software really pleases me, however I do not see how to adjust the colors using hexadecimal values as it is possible to do on the desktop version.
Is there a workaround or planned update?
Thank you for your work.
Looking forward to your answer.
Cordially.
Bludocs.
