Application text panel lucks language selector for spelling, so you can check only English grammar. And in the other hand MacOS app has that selector in the panel. I've checked with my colleague and the spellchecker is set to the language that you set in iOS. There is an option to choose a different language in the app settings but that does not have any control over the spellchecker as this is controlled by the os. I have iOS 14.00, maybe there was some computability issues. Before I’ve started working with text I were playing a lot with new handwriting feature and it do not work inside Affinity Design.
