walt.farrell
I've tried running Help > Benchmark several times now on my laptop (specs below). Each time it has hung while working on the Raster (Multi CPU) section, and I have had to kill Photo using the Task Manager. Frozen Death Knight
Same. It worked the first couple of times, but later when I tried running a test with my GPU active as Mark Ingram requested of me, I wasn't able to because of this. Then I stopped working altogether even when I reactivated my GPU in the Device Manager.
Staff Chris B Posted September 18, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 18, 2020 I get this on my desktop with an AMD card and Gabe gets it on an old laptop he's borrowing for testing. We did make an internal bug report but can I grab your specs and driver versions please How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
walt.farrell
My laptop specs are in my signature, Chris. As (for me) the hang seems to happen while performing part of the benchmark that is CPU-based I'm not sure which driver versions you're interested in. But here are my display drivers just in case they're helpful Chris B 1 -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Imaginary
Same here, process hangs, at Raster (Multi CPU) and has to be killed via task manager. My laptop specs: Windows 10 1903 64 16 GB Intel i7 5500U AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series -> Default Renderer Before I switched on OpenCL in the preferences the benchmark finished but the result was N/A at both single and multi GPU Chris B
