Apply Image - Equations does not work

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I recently followed the Astrophotography tutorial from James Ritson.  He used the Apply Image and equations.  I am on the latest Affinity Photo release and the equations option does not functions.  I can add the flat Layer to the Apply Image dialog box.  Select substract . This all works.  But when I am trying to make change to the equations...it does not do anything.  I am on "German" version.  Mac OS 10.15.5     Is there something I am doing wrong?

  • Not an Affinity user og forum user anymore. The software continued to disappoint and not deliver.

I figured out a workaround

What was the workaround?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

You need to activate "Equations" - Select the drop down RGB menu----select either of the other options...i.e. CMYK.... than reselect RGB and you the parameter will change in SR SG SB.  Standard I think it says QR QD QB... so there is bug in the software at least for a the translated "German" version
