Brush outline sticking on Affinity Photo for large brush size

Hi there.... I keep running into a problem on my Mac version of Affinity photo that is seriously impacting uasbility of the program.

For brushes above a certain size, the brush outline sticks as soon as it hits the canvas. At first this looked like a performance issue. However when I do it using the paintbrush tool, it is clear that the program is not slowing down as the preview image continues to flow around the screen nicely. I've not found anyone else with this problem, so for now I'm stuck. Does anyone have any insights as to what might be going on, and how to remedy it?

Ah! Thankyou @Gabe That does indeed work! Removed the Wacom software and driver, restarted the machine and the outline no longer sticks.

The big question is: Do you know how I can get the the wacom to co-exist with Affinity peacefully? :)

Update: Re-added driver for Wacom, problem has gone.

One other quirk was: The problem was only occurring for user accounts created on MacOS *after* the wacom software was installed.

SOLVED

Update: I can now reproduce the problem properly. I have multiple user accounts on my mac. After starting the mac, for whichever account runs Affinity Photo first, all is fine. If I then run AF in another user account on the same machine, the problem reappears on that instance, while for the user account that opened it first, all is still fine.
