Jumping colour wheel V1.9.0.196 (Fixed: build 199)

Recommended Posts

Just to let you know that trying to an install a font on iPadOS 14 beta 8 results in instant crash on new 1.9 beta. This also happens on 1.8 Photo and Designer on iPad Pro 9.7” too.

Also the colour wheel started from the brush context toolbar is unusable as not only does it jump all over the screen it doesn’t remember the set colour either. Same behaviour is found in 1.8 under IPadOS14 beta too.

Must be a problem with iPadOS 14 as I am still running the latest 13 and the colour wheel is acting correctly. (AP V1.9.0.196).

iPad Pro 12.9“ 3rd gen.

Without a doubt it is an iPadOS 14 issue, just the full 14 release arrives very soon so then everyone would have these problems.

We saw this with the first version of iPadOS 14 but it looks like it wasn't resolved yet. I'll give it a nudge—cheers :)

iPadOS 14 and iOS 14 released today.  Would I be correct that it might not be a good time to download?

Depends how much grief you are willing to absorb. Sounds like a lot of issues for little gain at the moment. 🤪

I upgraded an older iPhone 7plus.  I must be getting old because after using it for a bit, other then the incredible improvement to the AirPod Pro sound, I'm kinda feeling like 'ho…hum'.
I'm going to wait.

Let me know if you can pass an image from Photo Persons to HDR Toning persona and actually have an image (right now I get a transparent layer) and nothing works except the split screen, sorta.

I have created a comment but the mods are seeming to dismiss this.  Perhaps if you had a look, the mods will pay attention.

Some odd results with different images and there placement in layer stack. One kind of works and the other disappears.

Yes these transparent backgrounds popping up all over the place, I expect this is to do with the Windows 10 changes, yes really !

  • Staff

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Colour sliders dialog relocates when you make changes on iOS 14) of the program in the latest release.

The fixes and how to update are described in these forum posts.

We would appreciate you checking that this issue has now been resolved for you.

The builds also address these 2 iOS 14 issues

  • Adding a font into the Apps will cause iOS 14 to crash.
  • Support for Scribble
