Publisher crashes

Hello,

my Affinity Publisher (newest version 1.8.4) on MacOS 10.15.6 crashes every time I want to save the document. Before this happened, I created a text style – maybe it has something to do with this.

I was able to locate the problem. A field "Page No." in the master causes the crash on save. After deleting the field I was able to save normally.

HI @Nazim In order to investigate this we would need more information.

  1. What version of Publisher are you using?
  2. What macOS are you using?
  3. Is it always crashing when working on the same document or is this across different documents?
  4. Are you able to consistently reproduce one of these issues so that you can provide us with a video of it while it's happening?
    • If you do can you upload the video and zip up the document you are working on along with any assets and upload them please?

I can provide you with a dropbox folder link if you'd rather not upload your files publicly.

Hello,

AffinityPublisher 1.9.1

Mac OS Big Sur 11.2.2

MacBook Pro 15-inch 2018 16GB 2,2 6-Core Intel Corei7

Crashes the same document on Save command, or any other action like moving frame, replacing picture ...etc. Yes, it is consistent

Sorry, if I have attached the files not the way you need them, please let me know.

Hope you can help.

Nazim

@Nazim we need the file you cannot save. I assume you are opening an existing file and then cannot save it. We need also that Affinity file
