[1.9.0.195] ‘Spelling’ command

‘Document > Spelling’ doesn’t seem to do anything.

Same issue here. Won’t turn off spell check.

For me, it takes me to a mispelled word if I have another layer selected. So it highlights the framed text and highlights the word so I can retype it.

I only tried with a misspelled word. So is there currently no way to turn off Spell checker?
