Publisher hyperlink not embedding the file referenced

Recommended Posts

According to the help and the hyperlink interface, a file referenced with a hyperlink can be embedded with the exported pdf.

However it’s not working.

i can reference the file in the pdf when on the same computer.  But it doesn’t embed the file so it can be exported together. So on a different computer... no file is available to the hyperlink.

Do you get a copy of the 'File' included with the exported PDF? Reading the help for the Hyperlinks shows me that some pdf viewers won't open files. Also I used the PDF (for export) Preset, the file isn't copied if I choose PDF (Press Ready) preset, this is also mentioned in the help view.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I tried all the export options. None of them produced the accompanying file.

Ill try the Windows version and see if I have any joy.

Hi again,

thanks for your help. This morning it’s working. What was I doing wrong yesterday? No idea but today it works.
