thomaso
In the attached .afpub a text frame behaves as if being larger than it visually / numerically is: • If the area left or above the frame gets clicked, regardless of the currently selected tool, then the text frame gets selected instead. The yellow objects aren't necessary and just visualize the area. • If the affected text frame is exported as Selection then the resulting page size includes the dimensions of the yellow area. v184 text frame selection area.afpub The following topics seem to be related: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/121611-selecting-the-wrong-frame/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/122170-publisher-export-selection-to-jpeg-or-png-without-background-issue/&tab=comments#comment-667705 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/123543-publisher-jumps-between-layers/ Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Old Bruce
Not entirely sure about this but I think it may have something to do with the number and type of links. Does it still happen when you have links and destinations on different pages? I couldn't figure out what was what looking at the hyperlinks panel, there seemed to be some missing anchors. thomaso
47 minutes ago, Old Bruce said: it may have something to do with Here the issue initially occurred in a larger document with all links set more useful. The uploaded .afpub simply contains a copy of this text frame where I adjusted link targets to avoid complaints about missing targets (the anchors are at the end of their lines) That's why I linked above to the other topics: This issue appears to have to do with many different things ... it seems meanwhile end- or useless to search for each single influencing aspect. Especially the second thread linked above shows a variety of influencing aspects. I guess the reason for the issue must be investigated on a different level, independent of single parameters like specific characters in combination with specific style attributes etc. From this perspective it wouldn't really help if in this document the issue would disappear when the link targets get altered.
