I accidentally deleted an entire Brush Category in the Pixel Persona

Recommended Posts

I am new to Affinity Design and (after first learning about the vector persona) just started learning and exploring the pixel persona and I just deleted an entire Brush Category.

How do I get those brushes back (they came with the software). I have the iPad version such that I can use my iPencil.

I tried to “undo” but that did not seem to work. Is there a place I can download files of the brushes included in the software?

Many thanks for your help,

Do you know which category you deleted? If not you may find it easier to save all your project files and close them from the Affinity Home Screen and delete then re-install the app.

Hi @Salus,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

Unfortunately there's no way to 'undo' this step, however I can provide a file for download which will allow you to re-install this brush category. Could you please confirm for me, do you know which category was deleted?

If not, could you please provide a screenshot of all of your current categories, so I can determine what's missing?

Many thanks in advance :)

I believe it was a category called Basic Brushes

Thanks for confirming that! Please find this brush category file attached, simply navigate to the Brushes Studio in the Pixel Persona, then using the menu option in the top right of the Studio, select Import Brushes and then choose this file. I hope this helps :)
