I am on iOS 14 beta 7.

I can use all fonts installed just fine, but cannot add any more. I tried offloading and reloading the app and it didn't help.

Very worryingly it is still broken in todays full release of IOS14 too on all iPad APAD versions.

What am I doing wrong. In photo when I select text with scribble on I get the option to select font etc but nothing writes.

Edit. Turned off Scribble and text in Photo is back to normal 🙂

I just bought Affinity because I was having trouble with adding fonts in Vectornator. Wish I would have known about this bug before I threw down $20. 😡 Anyone know of any workarounds?

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Adding a font into the Apps will cause iOS 14 to crash) of the program in the latest release.

The fixes and how to update are described in these forum posts.

We would appreciate you checking that this issue has now been resolved for you.

The builds also address these 2 iOS 14 issues

  • Colour sliders dialog relocates when you make changes on iOS 14.
  • Support for Scribble
