Can someone tell me how to turn off the cascading deletion on vectors in Designer. I have selected 2 breaks points (I delete them) and if accidentally continue to delete ALL my prior created forms are deleted in the order they were made. This is NOT what I want to happen. How to make it stop??

Since the software should do what it allows the user to tell it to do, and it cannot know if your intentions are different to your actions, I think the answer here is to not (“accidentally”) delete things you do not intend to delete. (And there’s always the Undo function if you do something you didn’t intend to do.)

Try this, uncheck the "Prefer to keep selection after delete"

Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Am I the only one who thinks this option is poorly named? It makes no sense to me because it applies to what happens after deleting some selected item so my first inclination is to wonder if it means the deleted item is somehow kept somewhere.

Thanks all for replies and suggestions. As one who has worked in Illustrator for 20 years I looked forward to a competing alternate. I purchased Designer with those hopes 3 years ago. Sad but it is mostly a disappointment at this point. I get that there are copyright issues in building an alt.  but some of Designers functionality is just dumb. Maybe when its Designer 20.4.5 all will be great.(Sorry guys A/SL, I will stick with it to the end)
