walt.farrell
With the attached document, if I do a RegEx Find for h[ea]*d Publisher returns 6 entries in the result list. Pressing Find after that will give me the second, then the third entry, but will not advance to the 4th/5th/6th entry in the list. It stays stuck on the 3rd entry (and the 3rd occurrence on the document page). MikeW
Gets weirder... Select or click into your second (lower) text frame. Now it should cycle through the matches in that frame, then advance to the first (upper) text frame, then halt again after the third match. walt.farrell
000
Can confirm ... very strange. It's the same behaviour by the way when you simply search for "head" without RegEx, same six results, same stop after the first three. And also the same result after reformatting all text to (no style) and moving the text frames around the pages or re-ordering them in the layers panel. Lastly: Same result again, when the text in one of the frames is changed (I noticed that both text frames have the same name in the layers panel, so I edited the first line of one frame to make it re-name itself and make them different). It DOES work correctly though, when all text is copied into one text frame and / or flows into the other. Therefore, my guess is, the issue has something to do with the text frames being separated.
