DannyJoe58
Is there any way to scan a photograph and import the image with Affinity Photo? I am really wanting to remove the entire Photoshop program from my MacBook Pro, but unfortunately I need it to do a Twain import from time to time via scanner. Thanks for any help. If this is not a function of Affinity Photo now, perhaps the Affinity staff might take it for action? Danny

LilleG
Paul, is your Epson plugged in directly to your computer? File>Acquire Image is not picking up my shared wireless HP. It doesn't recognize my iPhone either. Haven't tried my camera. Or am I mistaken about what sort of "Devices" it should recognize?
Paul Bravery
Hi LilleG, I don't have a wireless printer/scanner. It's an Epson 5900 CX, attached by USB. Paul.
LilleG
Ah, maybe a device has to be physically plugged in. Or could be just a weird glitch in my OS...I am still running Mountain Lion and it does have issues at times.
Paul Bravery
I'm using Yosemite on my internal system drive, El Capitan Public Beta on an external drive. When my Epson is plugged in via USB & switched on, Affinity sees it on both OS versions. I also have PS Elements 10 which can't import directly from the Epson!
