DZ2
For some reason when I try to use the pen tool, it rarely places it where the mouse is. It didn't seem like a big deal until I tried editing that node with the node tool to correctly place it but once again it just goes to a random spot? Any solutions? *Issue is clear in the vide* Thanks! Screen_Recording_2020-09-04_at_5_14.51_PM.mov
R C-R
You have Force Pixel Alignment & Move by Whole Pixels enabled on the toolbar, & you are zoomed extremely far in, so my guess is what you are seeing is the app trying to force everything into pixel alignment. I’m confused, not that it takes much! ‘Move by Whole Pixels’ has always (to my great annoyance) taken precedence over ‘Force Pixel Alignment’. Has this been changed recently? Has this been changed recently? We have discussed this many times. Nothing has changed. ‘Move by Whole Pixels’ is available only if ‘Force Pixel Alignment’ is enabled. It is therefore an additional constraint on how pixels are forced to align. At least that is the way I have always thought about it. I intended "force everything into pixel alignment" only to mean that the nodes are being forced to align to something other than where the OP wants to put them. Because 'Move by Whole Pixels' is available only if 'Force Pixel Alignment' is enabled, all that matters for the OP to get what is wanted is that 'Force Pixel Alignment' is disabled. Does that make sense?
