Denbur
How do I get into the curves tool?
Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Denbur. Assuming that you’re looking for the Node Tool, in Affinity Designer it’s near the top of the toolbar, just below the Move Tool. In Affinity Photo it’s less obvious because it’s on a flyout with the Pen Tool: tap twice on the Pen Tool to display the flyout. Also you will find it in both the RAW persona and the standard Processing Persona about the forth studio down, the Tones studio . There may be other ways that some of the others know of but that is how I have been using the Curves tool.
Carson
To add, I like the Curves adjustment filter the best because one can have extra control by going into layer options and using the blend boxes at the bottom to make further protections. Also it is easy to use selection with curves such as a mid tone selection and the same blend box options apply.
